Albury, NSW - 6 October 2006 – ABS Australia is pleased to announce some important changes to their management structure in the critical areas of Production, Livestock and property management.

As ABS Australia looks to the future growth of its bull team and further developing the range of Australian produced genetics, some changes have been implemented to better support the expected growth.

Daniel Hodgkin has accepted the position of Production Manager and will oversee the day to day activities of ABS Australia’s semen collection and laboratory operations together with ABS Australia’s two farm properties – “Langiballa” and “Jarrah”.

“Since taking over the Livestock Manager’s position 3 years ago Daniel has shown great leadership qualities and has grown considerably in his role” says Geoff Wood, ABS Australia’s Dairy Product Manager. “This is the next step in Daniels career and having demonstrated that he has the necessary qualities he has accepted a tremendous opportunity to take leadership in the continued development of the production facility”.

Stephen Hartley will move in to the newly created “Langiballa” Farm Manager role and will assume responsibility for the management and maintenance of the property and well being of the livestock.

“Steve has shown a great desire to do more for the company and fully deserves this opportunity” states Wood, “He has shown through his hard work the ability to be very versatile in the job role and has long been recognized as a very important team player”.
