ABS Australia Announces New Management AppointmentsAlbury, NSW - June 20 2006 – ABS Australia is pleased to announce some important changes to their management structure in the critical areas of Human Relations and Development (HR&D) and Herd Recording. Since the acquisition of Consolidated Herd Improvement Services (CHIS) in July 2005, Shane McCarrey has successfully managed both of these departments. With growing needs in both divisions ABS Australia General Manager Steve Fried has elected to re-position key personnel to facilitate these needs. Effective July 01, Shane McCarrey will dedicate 100% of his time to management of HR&D. “We have been developing this strategy over the past several months. The well-being of our staff is our highest priority, and it is important that we provide them with maximum support and development opportunities” Fried explained. “Shane has introduced many programs and systems to our staff in recent months and allowing him the opportunity to commit all of his time to this department will support our objectives of being the industry employer of choice!” Patrice Prevost, ABS Australia Operations Manager will incorporate the responsibilities of Herd Recording Manager into this role. Working closely with the existing laboratory, data processing, customer service and field service staff Patrice is dedicated to the continued provision of superior service to ABS clients. “Adding Herd Recording to Patrice’s portfolio is a natural fit within the organization” stated Fried. “There are multiple cross-over points between Herd Recording and Operations. Both departments rely on excellent Customer Service, as well as efficiency in distribution logistics.
