ABS AUSTRALIA ANNOUNCES PURCHASE OF HERD IMPROVEMENT SERVICES OF SA CO-OPERATIVE LTD (HISCOL)Albury, NSW -December 20, 2005 -ABS Australia has announced the acquisition of HISCOL, a farmer owned AB and Herd Improvement business based in Yankalilla, SA and with offices in Mount Gambier, SA and Terang, Vic. "Through this acquisition, ABS will continue to offer HISCOS clients superior herd recording and a broad range of genetics from all suppliers at competitive prices," said Stephen Fried, General Manager of ABS Australia. "Further more, ABS will seek out and offer new technology developments as they become available. HISCOL has played an important role in the development and delivery of genetic and herd improvement services throughout the region for many years and we want to ensure those services continue and are improved upon."
