ABS Australia Hires New Operations AdministratorAlbury, NSW - July 15, 2005 - ABS Australia is excited to announce the addition of Patrice Prevost to their team in the role of Operations Administrator! Prevost has been an employee of ABS Canada for over four years as Customer Service Manager where he managed all aspects of product distribution, order entry and customer service. Prior to this he worked in logistics with Purolator Courier. Raised on an Ayrshire farm in Quebec, Prevost has represented the breed in Australia and South Africa while employed by the Canadian Ayrshire Association. "ABS is fortunate to add a person of Patrice's ability to our team" stated Steve Fried, GM of ABS Australia. "He has an excellent understanding of logistics and the JD Edwards system that we have recently installed to manage our inventory, order entry, sales reporting and invoicing functions. Having an on-site person to provide support with JD Edwards is critical, especially during times of integrating our retail acquisitions into our business." "I am very excited about this opportunity" exclaims Prevost. "I have traveled to Australia in the past and have been impressed with the dairy industry. The opportunity to assist in the development of the ABS Australia business will be an exciting challenge!" In this newly developed role, and working closely with the existing distribution and customer service team as well as the finance department, Prevost will assume overall responsibility for all functions related to the storage, delivery and invoicing of semen from the Albury head office, as well as the integration of the satellite offices into the main system. He will be relocating to Albury and begin his new role on July 18, 2005.
